In 2019 when we hear the word “influencer” the first thing that comes to our mind is a person with millions of followers on instagram and with a unique lifestyle, who through their work influence other people and determine the latest trends. If we want to talk about fashion influencers in 2019 we should start from Chiara Ferragni.

Chiara Ferragni is one of the most influential people in social media mostly in the fashion world. She started as a fashion blogger in 2009 and in 2011 she was named as the Blogger of The Moment in Teen Vogue. By 2013, Ferragni had won various blogger of the year recognitions. In 2013 she published her Italian language eBook and in 2014 she collaborated with Steve Madden to design a 9-shoe collection for Spring 2014. In 2014 her business ventures grossed about $8 million and they came mostly from her Chiara Ferragni Collection footwear.

In 2015, Chiara’s blog and shoe line, Chiara Ferragni Collection, became a case study at Harvard Business School as she had a huge influence to millions of people and her businesses have a big success in a very short time. Also in April 2015 she appeared on the cover of Vogue Spain and became the first fashion blogger to ever appear on any Vogue cover

In 2016 she had her own Barbie version from Mattel Inc., a version with many outfits. This fact shows the importance and the influence Chiara has for the fashion industry. In 2017, Ferragni had 10 million followers on Instagram and for this reason she earned $12,000 for a sponsored post to Instagram. Also in 2017, Chiara opened her first Chiara Ferragni Collection store in Milan and in 2018 Footwear News named Ferragni one of “the most influential moms in the fashion industry”

Why do we talk about Mandy on this blog?Well,Amanda took her career and her Instargram game to the next level in the last 4 years ever since she signed with IMG Models in 2016.Anyone who was a regular on her channel could see her changing from a Youtuber to a high fashion Model and taking a complete turn on her fashion sense.The way I would describe it is that she went from the girl next door to a not afraid to try anything person,that creates maybe “not for everyone” bold looks.

She is constantly invited to fashion shows and she keeps on sharing her looks on Instagram where she has over 2.5 million followers.In the last two years she has also prepped and launced a clothing line called STEELE which you can find online.She is only 20 years old and she is a talented young woman with,for sure, a lot more to offer.

Emma Chamberlain is one of the most famous Youtubers in America at the moment with over 8,5 million subscribers and has also a huge amount of subscribes on Instagram ,over 8,2 million . Despite her young age (18 years old) she has thrived through the internet and has become one of the main topics for gossip for all good and bad reasons.

What we actually want to talk about though is her fashion journey which was the least we can say unexpected.Watching her old videos the last think anybody would comment about her would be her fashion sense, ok maybe something like “absent”.As Emma grew more and more on both youtube and Instagram she started getting more into fashion especially when it came to designer clothes.Her first project was a clothing line called High Key by Emma, which is available exclusively on the Gen Z-favored shopping app dote .She also collaborated with eye wear company Crapeyewear for a line of sunglasses she helped design.

As for her personal style Emma reveals she buys everything basic she can get her hands on but is truing to buy more and more unique pieces to pair with those basics.Since she was young she had a special place in her heart for deals and she loves shopping from thrift stores,ash we can see on various videos on her channel .

Her journeyhas been a huge success and the fans were not the only ones to to notice Emma’s new interest for fashion Youtube and Louis Vuitton invited Emma to co-sponsorship and just like that she attended Paris Fashion Week in March 2019.Her next big step was during NY Fashion Week when she hosted the Teen Vogue event Generation Next inn the presence of Vogue Editor-In-Chief.

There are a lot of people that denote on her success as a lucky burst but the majority acknowledge her humor,the hard work she has put in through her brief career and keep on supporting her.Whatever the truth might be she has become a fashion icon for numerous young girls on a short period of time and she is definitely worth of discussion .
